the monster. Hercules enters the lair, accompanied by Martan (Geoff Allen) and Darthus (Sydney Jackson), two men from the town. Once inside, however, the three become confused by the maze of twisting corridors. Martan panics and turns back, only to be savagely assaulted by the beast. The corpulent Darthan gets stuck in a narrow passageway, and winds up with his throat slashed.
At last Hercules confronts the terrible monster, a huge-limbed, obscenely ugly, man-like creature with the head of a bull -- a minotaur. A raging battle ensues,
